By choosing to make payments online to Arenas Valley Water Development Association (“AVWDA”), you agree to the following terms and conditions regarding transaction processing and associated fees.
🔹 Processing Fees
AVWDA utilizes a secure third-party payment processor to facilitate online payments. To help offset the cost of these services, the following processing fees will be charged to your account:
- Debit/Credit Card Payments: 3.50% per transaction, with a minimum charge of $3.00.
- eCheck Payments (Electronic Bank Transfers): Flat fee of $2.00 per transaction.
🔹 Additional Service Fees
The following fees may be charged to your account in the event of specific payment-related issues:
- Chargeback Fee: $25.00 per item
(applies when a payment is disputed and reversed by your bank or card issuer) - Return Fee: $4.00 per item
(applies when a payment is returned due to insufficient funds or incorrect account information) - Refund Fee: $4.00 per item
(applies when a refund is requested and processed)
💡 Important Disclosures
- All fees listed above are charged to AVWDA by the payment processor and are passed through to the customer to recover these costs.
- Fees will be automatically added to your account and reflected in your billing statement.
- Online payments are optional. You may avoid these fees by paying via check or money order by mail or in person at our office.
- By submitting an online payment, you acknowledge and accept these terms and authorize AVWDA to apply the applicable fees to your account.
